Savannah Savvy

The Resident's Guide to Savannah

Live Life to the Fullest

As the world becomes less dependent on physical work spaces more people are coming to live where they usually only get to vacation.  If you are one of the lucky ones who get to live in Savannah, this site is for you!  We interview local businesses so you can learn more about your neighbors.  We review volunteer opportunities.  We share ideas, pictures and resources to help everyone find their happy place.  We have information on utilities, activities, crime, schools and even what to do on a rainy day!  Klara the llama is our ambassador – you will often see her out and about living her best life – with no drama.

Short Itineraries

1. Explore Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park is an amazing place to run, walk, play tennis, basketball and people watch and just enjoy the iconic trees.  After enjoying the park, head over to the Sentient Bean or Brighter Day for coffee or lunch. The Farmers Market starts at 9 am on Saturday mornings.

2. Bull Street Adventures

Bull Street stretches from downtown through midtown and runs you through the middle of Forsyth Park.  It is a vibrant street where you can find many restaurants, vintage shops, art shops, galleries, the American Legion, yoga studios, magic shop, clothes, waffles, and tacos. Foxy Loxy has fire pit evenings, live music and a great back patio area. Starland Yard and the Starlandia area are just off Bull around 41st street.

3. Bonaventure Cemetery

Bring some food along and have a picnic by the river then explore the cemetery.  You can also take a guided tour if you would like more details.
